This was a special week for a handful of young ladies and an even more special week for Betsy Walker. Betsy arrived early and left late preparing for her camp and loving every minute of it. Knowing her like I do, I could see just how much she enjoyed holding this camp. The school teacher came out in her as she took her students on a journey to Hawaii, Japan, Greece, and the USA. Dancers learned about the culture, traditions, native dances, their food, and dressed in their native clothing. My favorite moments were Betsy dancing with the girls and playing traditional games… especially rolling on the floor!
Betsy will take her next group of dancers (grades 1st-5th) to the ballet for “At The Ballet” camp which will be July 7th-11th from 9am-12. Dancers will learn about the different ballets, the music, the costuming, learn variations, and create special crafts. Space is limited so register online today.
